The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) Cash Application Specialist in Hyderabad, India
Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensures that cash is applied in a time sensitive manner and looks for ways for continuous improvement.
Download, review, reconcile and post all lockbox payments daily.
Escalates issues as required.
Adheres to Global Finance Cultural Statement & Operating Principles.
Must be able to function effectively in a high paced, high demand environment.
Participate in and support technology enhancement projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of Cash Application experience and Account Reconciliation experience.
Demonstrated experience with lock box automation and bank reconciliation.
Understanding of Order to Cash processes
ERP experience with mid to large financial applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing AR/Cash Application functions for a global organization
General understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
Intermediate Microsoft excel skills for big data analyses
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Results driven with demonstrated successful outcomes
Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Able to work flexible hours when needed
