The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) Digital Campaigns Manager in Rockville, Maryland
Summary of the Position
The Digital Campaigns Manager is a hands-on, professional position that supports digital marketing campaign efforts. The incumbent will work with Communications and Marketing partners to build impactful digital campaign plans, coordinate development of campaign assets, manage campaign execution, report performance, and provide insights. The incumbent will work alongside Global Communications, Marketing, and other partners throughout the organization to define and achieve campaign objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Marketing leads to identify digital opportunities that drive strategic marketing goals
Define campaign strategy and objectives aligned to overall organization and digital goals and outcomes
Manage digital campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels, including email, display, paid search and social media
Ensure that the campaign tactics align with USP voice and other Brand guidelines. Ensure campaign content is of high quality.
Work with partners to implement campaigns and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders
Manage campaign budgets ensuring the most efficient use of funds to meet goals
Work with agencies on budget management, timing, tracking, creative development as needed
Ensure proper tracking to enable good attribution and tracking
Communicate campaign performance, present thoughtful analysis and form recommendations to improve performance on a regular basis
Identify digital trends and opportunities for improvements
Manage external agency for relevant marketing campaigns
Operationalize and synchronize project work plans in collaboration with staff and vendors, resolve roadblocks and support plan implementation to project completion
Stay up to date on industry best practices and participates in trainings to continuously evolve USP’s digital goals
Models USP core values in all aspects of work performance and interaction with people
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of digital communications or digital marketing experience
Agency experience a plus
Up-to-date with modern digital communications and marketing trends
Proven ability to deliver strategic outcomes
Experience developing and optimizing marketing programs and media plans
Proven ability to plan and manage projects and multiple priorities concurrently with strong results/goal orientation
Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities to meet challenging deadlines and deliver high-quality products.
Experience managing projects to ensure timely execution
Experience identifying Key Performance Indicators
Experience with deriving actionable insight from analytics and analytics tools
Demonstrated experience developing reports and conducting analysis for digital channels
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
Project management experience and familiarity with basic project management principles and tools
Ability to proactively manage issues, risks, potential challenges and barriers and to know when to escalate them to management
Digital savvy with an aptitude for learning software technology quickly
Work effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendors; detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
