Brief Job Overview
You can’t strengthen something if you don’t know where weakness exists. USP’s Medicine Supply Map identifies, characterizes, and quantifies risk in the upstream pharmaceutical supply chain. Our team recently launched the Medicine Supply Map to help improve the resiliency of the healthcare supply chain. To support the continued development and growth, we have an opening for a Product Specialist. This position plays a critical role bringing new data and insights to customers in healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, and government. The successful applicant will drive product development and adoption by understanding data assets and analytics opportunities and how they can be leveraged to meet customer needs throughout the generic pharmaceutical supply chain. How will YOU create impact here at USP?
Work with customers and internal groups to facilitate purchase agreements for the Medicine Supply Map
Establish and execute revenue operations procedures
Establish customer accounts and reoccurring payment systems within internal systems, including analyzing, reconciling, and communicating financial closings, billings, and recognized revenue
Provide technical and business support to customers
Routinely document and update accounting policies and procedures
Participate in the research, definition, prioritization, and product planning based on customer feedback and collaboration with the development team
Planning and assisting with new product releases and events
Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders
Assisting with the development of business plans
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Set and manage internal and external partner expectations related to specific deliverables
Domestic travel up to 25% to attend conferences and customer meetings
Perform other duties as assigned

Undergraduate degree
Strong attention to detail
Proficient time and project management skills

Demonstrated ability to independently and efficiently execute business processes
Additional Desired Preferences
Experience with Revenue or Sales Operations
Healthcare domain knowledge
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain highly technical or complex issues to a non-technical audience
Data Science or Data Analytics experience
