Summary of the Position

The Senior HR Systems Analyst will partner with the functional areas of HR and other internal stakeholders in the operation, administration, maintenance, maximization, and overall effectiveness of global HR information systems, including UltiPro, the Learning Management System (Cornerstone), Performance Management (Halogen), and the Employee Recognition tool (OC Tanner). The position will plan, analyze and prioritize reporting and business process needs relative to the HR systems, fulfill report and data requests, and ensure all training content is successfully set up, maintained, and recorded.

Key to this role's success is the knowledge and ability to act as the subject matter expert serving as the technical lead for all global HR information systems providing recommendations for system and process improvements to manage data, facilitate work flow in applications, improve efficiency, analyze data, troubleshoot and utilize technology to meet current and future needs. Manages day to day activities associated with implementation/enhancement and issue resolution of HR technology solutions. This role will also support training on the HRIS, LMS, and other technology systems as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide all end user support and maintenance of Global HR’s technology systems. Drives improvement of HR operational processes, optimize the management of HR data across the global organization, implement new HRIS modules, and maintain optimal functionality of HR systems (LMS, performance management, global recognition system).

  • Coordinates system setup, changes and configuration with software vendors, as needed. Manages, troubleshoots and resolves system issues. Collaborates with HR, IT, QA and other internal stakeholders to address system errors.

  • Builds relationships with vendors to ensure service performance and continuous improvements in processes. Manages new and existing interfaces and data transfers to and from internal and external systems.

  • Ensures LMS is up-to-date with course catalog offerings to promote and communicate learning requirements and opportunities to employees.

  • Develops and delivers routine and ad hoc reports and analytics.

  • Develops process for regular maintenance and audits to monitor/ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintained within the systems. Research and resolve data inconsistencies.

  • Define and manage all HR system user accounts, including all data migration from HRIS.

  • Establish testing protocols, publishing requirements and maintenance procedures for upgrades and LMS learning activities.

  • Builds and tests learning assets (courses, e-learning, materials, videos, curricula, etc.).

  • Creates and assigns courses and curriculum to end users through defined rules.

  • Tests and implements LMS quarterly releases and enhancements, works with team to determine which releases should be implemented.

  • Creates and implements a maintenance schedule for existing items in the LMS .

  • Creates documentation for end-user training to ensure the effective utilization of HR systems. Assists with rollout and communications related to new modules and initiatives.

  • Keeps abreast of professional development events, seminars, and webinars to stay current in latest regulatory and technology advances.

  • Other special projects and duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Computer Science or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in implementing/supporting an HRIS and LMS. Candidates with no prior LMS experience will be considered if they have a proven track record of learning and utilizing, at a high-level, multiple HR systems.

  • Familiarity with performance management and rewards and recognition systems.

  • Experience extracting and analyzing data and delivering routine and ad hoc reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a globally dispersed organization preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS, LMS, payroll, performance, and recognition and rewards systems (UltiPro, Cornerstone, COGNOS, Halogen, O.C. Tanner) and developing workflow systems to accompany programs.

  • Experience with e-learning solutions and publishing for LMS including Articulate and Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) standards: SCORM and API for LMS content.

  • Experience with SQL, RDMS and interface/integration.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to clearly and concisely communicate and translate technical concepts/topics into simple language for non-technical audiences and vice versa.

  • Strong problem solving, project management, time management, organization and prioritization skills.

  • Analytical and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting; ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently with accuracy; ability to adjust to changing priorities with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • An understanding of computer hardware, networking, and software applications.
