Technical Proposal Writers (Consultants)
Global Public Health
USP seeks consultant candidates for anticipated global work writing technical proposals in response to competitive solicitations issued by various bilateral and multilateral entities, including but not limited to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank, The Global Fund, and other donors and foundations.
The consultants will be responsible for the development of technical narratives that are compliant with donor requirements, based on collaborative design meetings with USP technical staff. Selected consultant candidates will be contacted and kept on file as part of a roster of writing experts for a period of 2 years.
Advanced degree in English, international development, public health, or related field
5+ years’ experience writing technical proposals, with proven track record of writing successful proposals for global health development donors, including USAID, CDC, WHO, World Bank, The Global Fund, and other multilateral donors and foundations
Excellent technical writing skills
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex technical information into a highly readable, concise, and persuasive narrative that clearly communicates the win strategy
Ability to translate technical ideas into concepts for graphics
International travel may be required
