Description

Summary of the Position:

This position will be responsible for project management of meetings, activities, engagements, and outcomes for activities related to international government and regulatory affairs function of GEA. The regulatory affairs function of GEA is working to build and strengthen the partnership of USP with medicine regulators and other government policy stakeholders globally to address the regulatory challenges and policies to ensure universal access to quality medicines and foods. This position will extensively collaborate with the external affairs staff from all the regions, program operations teams across the organization but limited to internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Support the conduct of the biweekly meetings from facilitating the development of agenda, capture notes and to-dos to follow up on pending activities

  • For activities undertaken by the function, track the overall schedule, timeline and deliverables including resources required.

  • Work collaboratively with other functions internally to communicate the project resources support and coordinate the planning and approval process.

  • Keep track of the regulatory meetings, events, formal meetings with regulatory stakeholders from different regions

  • Collate the progress and discussions from meetings that’s are of workplans developed from MoUs with global stakeholders

  • Create a calendar of events and projects to map out the communication support regionally

  • Coordinate the contracting process and work with regional leads and consultants.

Basic Qualifications

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent with 5 year experience

  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge

  • Proficiency in project management software tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization

  • Proven ability to work on global teams

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with high level of motivation
